Playwright Ken Vose and actor Jordan Rhodes, a renowned figure in film and television with a career spanning over thirty years, have teamed up to create a captivating and thought-provoking film about Ernest Hemingway, one of the most celebrated literary figures of the 20th century. This tribute to Hemingway, affectionately known as "Papa," sheds light on the complexities of his character, portraying a man deeply tormented by his inner struggles, yet responsible for producing some of the era’s most remarkable works of fiction.

Set around the final morning of Hemingway’s life, July 2, 1961, the film unfolds through flashbacks, exploring the significant milestones and hardships of his extraordinary journey. From the battlefields of World War I to the lively Parisian cafés of the 1920s, the bullfights and Civil War in Spain, the iconic Sloppy Joe’s bar in Key West, wartime France, Marlin fishing off Cuba, to safaris in Africa, Hemingway's adventurous spirit was evident in every corner of the world.
